Karim Zaza ( born January 9, 1975 in Copenhagen, Denmark ) is a Danish- Moroccan football goalkeeper.

The 1.85 m wide Goalkeeper plays since 2007 in Aalborg BK. His previous stops were: Silkeborg IF, Fremad Amager, Copenhagen FC, Odense BK, Brøndby IF.
Intermezzo in Germany
Karim Zaza went abroad in 2006 and signed with the then German second division promoted Rot-Weiss Essen. He was goalkeeper immediately. With the Essenes Zaza played permanently in a relegation battle. In the end, the re- direct descent.
Return to Denmark
Zaza returned back to Denmark in 2007 and signed with Aalborg BK. With this club he was in 2008 surprisingly Danish title. Then they played the following season in qualifying for the UEFA Champions League. After victories against FK Modrica Maxima (2nd qualifying round) and FBK Kaunas (3rd qualifying round) it came, in the group stage. In the group stage they met the favorites Manchester United, Villarreal and Benfica Lisbon. Karim Zaza was in his Champions League debut on 17 September 2008 against Celtic Glasgow, also equal to the hero, as he fended off a penalty kick - the game finally ended 0-0. During the group stage also get more respect successes against Villarreal and against Celtic and defending champions Manchester United. At the end of Aalborg BK landed, also thanks to a Karim Zaza, in the third place, which was synonymous with the participation in the round of the current UEFA Cup. There was switched sensational from the then Spanish Primera Divisionists Deportivo La Coruna. In the first leg, in the domestic Energi Nord Arena, they won 3-0. In the second leg we won 2-1. In the second round, the English Premier League club Manchester City proved to be too large.
In the league Zaza was only seventh with Aalborg BK; thanks to the fact that it was a finalist in the Danish Cup Competition ( Final opponent was champions FC Copenhagen) was allowed Aalborg to participate in the qualification for the UEFA Europa League. There you failed, however surprisingly the Bosnian club FK Slavija Sarajevo ( 0:0 and 1:3). In the league Zaza only reached the fifth place in the table with the Nordjüten.
In the following season they were involved in a relegation battle long; at the end were Zaza and Aalborg tenth.

He made his debut for Morocco in the clash between Morocco and Argentina on 28 April 2004 in Casablanca.
