Karin Seehofer

Karin Seehofer born Stark ( * April 1958 ) is the second wife of the Bavarian Prime Minister Horst Seehofer.

Career

Her parents ran the Franz Stark Brewery in Schamhaupten. After leaving school, she trained as a management staff, where she met the then department head Horst Seehofer, whom she married on Christmas Day 1985 at the District Office Eichstätt. The marriage produced three children, two daughters and a son went forth. While her husband made ​​as a politician career in Bonn and Berlin, she moved up the children.

Public appearances at her husband's side remained rare, especially after her husband's extramarital relationship was announced in January 2007.
