Karl Siegmund von Seckendorff

Karl Siegmund von Seckendorf (* November 26, 1744 in Erlangen, † April 26, 1785 in Ansbach ) was a German poet.

Life

The paternal ancestors of Charles Siegmund ( Sigmund Karl) Baron von Seckendorf - Aberdar:

  • His father was Johann Friedrich Wilhelm Reich Freiherr von Seckendorf - Aberdar on market Sugenheim, Unternzenn etc. (1708 - 1770); Imperial Privy Council, Brandenburg - Kulmbach - Bayreuthischer Minister, Knight Captain of the Canton Steigerwald.
  • The grandfather was Christoph Friedrich baron of Seckendorf - Aberdar (1679 - 1759), on market Sugenheim, Unternzenn; Brandenburg- Ansbachischer Minister.
  • The great-grandfather was Sigmund Christoph baron of Seckendorf - Aberdar (1629 - 1710), on market Sugenheim, superiors and Unternzenn etc.; Imperial Real Council, Knight Captain of the Canton Altmühltherme.
  • The great-great grandfather was Georg Albrecht baron of Seckendorr - Aberdar (1594 - 1632), on market Sugenheim, superiors and Unternzenn etc.

Karl Siegmund von Seckendorf - Aberdar stood until 1763 in Austria, then in Prussian military service, in 1775 he was chamberlain in Weimar where he belonged to the circle of the Duchess Amalia. In 1784 he was Prussian envoy at the Frankish circles.
