Carinthia is running a half marathon, which takes place in Klagenfurt am Wörthersee since 2002 and is organized by the Kleine Zeitung. The competition also includes a quarter marathon. The day before, also children competitions, a family and a woman running, and a Dogging - competition will be held.

History

Carinthia Runs replaced in Carinthia's sports calendar organized by the Athletics Club Klagenfurt Klagenfurt- marathon, which was held between 1997 and 2001 five times. The following athletes were victorious in this race, in the 1999 and 2001, the Austrian Marathon Championship was integrated:

Route

The half marathon starts in Velden and leads on the north shore of Lake Wörth along Pörtschach and Krumpendorf to Klagenfurt. The quarter marathon starts in Pörtschach, with the second half of the main petition identical.
