Károly Ferenc Szabó

Károly Ferenc Szabó ( born August 29, 1943 in Dej, Romania, † 25 January 2011) was a Romanian politician and former Member of the European Parliament for the Democratic Union of Hungarians in Romania.

He belonged to the Parliament of Romania since 17 February 2004, and was a member of the Democratic Union of Hungarians in Romania Group, from September 2004 as Group Vice- Chairman. In the wake of Romania's accession to the European Union, he was from January 1, 2007 to December 9, 2007 at the European Parliament, where he was a member of the Group of the European People's Party (Christian Democrats) and European Democrats.
