Kartkowo, Pomeranian Voivodeship

Kartkowo ( German Kartkow, Kasch. Kartkòwò ) is a village in the Polish Pomeranian Voivodeship and is part of the municipality Czarna Dąbrówka ( Black Damerkow ) in Bytowski powiat ( county Buetow ).

Kartkowo lies to the east of the Landscape Park Stolpetal ( Dolina Landscape Park Slupi ) in close proximity to the province road 212, which forms a portion of the former imperial road 158 here. Until the former county town of Stolp (now Polish: Slupsk ) is 38 km, and the current circle metropolis Bytów ( Buetow ) is only 10 km away. A rail connection does not exist.

It was until 1945 as a part of the community estate village United Nossin ( Nożyno ) in the district of Stolp in Pomerania Region of the Prussian province of Pomerania. The 464 -acre manor Kartkow had 275 ha of arable land. 20 ha of meadows, 14 acres pasture, 116 ha Holzungen, 4 ha Unland, courtyard and paths and 35 acres of water. In the period from January 1 to September 30, 1929 it was amalgamated with Wundichow and belonged at that time to the registry office Budow. In earlier times, it emerged as a belonging to Wundichow district with 36 inhabitants in 1836.

Since 1945, the place is called Kartkowo and is under Polish administration. It is the seat of a Schulz Office within the Gmina Czarna Dąbrówka in powiat Bytowski in the Pomeranian Voivodeship ( 1975-1998 Slupsk voivodship ). Here are now registered 52 residents.

Church- the Church of the Old Prussian Union was Kartkow to 1945 in the Protestant parish church in the United Nossin Stolp - old town in the ecclesiastical province of Pomerania incorporated. Since 1945 Kartkowo is part of the Catholic parish in the deanery Nożyno Łupawa ( Lupow ) in the diocese of Pelplin of the Catholic Church in Poland. Protestant church members belong to the Cross parish in Slupsk ( Stolp ) in the Diocese of Pomerania - Greater Poland the Evangelical-Augsburg Church in Poland.
