The Karzachi Lake (Georgian კარწახის ტბა, Karzachis TBA; Turkish Aktas Gölü ) is a lake on the border of the district in the Turkish province of Ardahan Çıldır and the Samtskhe - Javakheti region of Georgia. The 27 sq km lake is of tectonic origin and is situated on a 1798 meter high plateau. The Georgian proportion is slightly larger than the Turkish. In the lake there are twelve islands. It is fed by several small streams and drains on the Turkish side in about 6 km north-west and 400 meters lower Kura flowing past. Located on the banks and on the islands of reeds grows.

Fishing is operated with conventional fishing gear on the shore of the lake. The Dalmatian Pelican has settled here.

The lake has not restricted the status of a nature reserve, but since he is in a military off area, are human activities.
