Karunesh
" Karunesh " is the stage name of the New Age / Ambient musician Bruno Reuter ( born 1956 in Cologne). In his music he uses many Asian and Indian sounds and instruments such as the Indian sitar.
Although he already felt as a child attracted to music and play along as a teenager in a band, he studied graphic design. After his studies, but he was involved in a serious motorcycle accident. His close encounter with death made him think about his life and begin a spiritual way of life, so that he traveled to India in 1979. After his accident, he decided finally to pursue his talent as a musician.
1984, the first album, Sounds of the Heart was published. The first seven CDs originally appeared on Nightingale Records / Meistersinger Music, the label, which also Anugama and Kamal released their first CD.
Since 1992 Karunesh has lived in Maui, Hawaii.
