Karwinskia

Karwinskia is a genus of the family of the buckthorn family ( Rhamnaceae ). It includes about 15 species in North and South America, and the Caribbean.

Description

Karwinskia are evergreen shrubs or small trees, whose leaves are often occupied glands located on opposite sides.

The flowers are as stalked umbel -like cymes achselbürtige or as individual flowers. The during flower cup is cup-shaped to hemispherical, the intergrown with the flower cups Diskus is thin.
