The Kasane airport (English Kasane Airport ) is the international airport of Kasane in Botswana. It is based on aircraft movements ( 10,811 flights in 2009) and on the number of passengers ( 58 907 passengers in 2009 ) is the third largest airport in the country. It is located about four miles southeast of downtown and is the starting point for trips into the Chobe National Park, the Caprivi Strip in Namibia and to Victoria Falls in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, or near Livingstone in Zambia.
Infrastructure
The airport has one passenger terminal. Car rentals are available at the airport and customs, as well as a currency exchange.
Airlines and connections
Air Botswana flies in the scheduled flight to Maun and Gaborone at home and to Johannesburg in South Africa. In addition, at the airport operate numerous charter airlines.
