Kasper Søndergaard Sarup ( born June 9, 1981 in Breum, Skive Kommune, Denmark ) is a Danish handball player. Its body length is 1.90 m.

Søndergaard, who plays for the Danish top club Skjern Håndbold and for the Danish national team ( shirt number 22) runs is mostly used in the right rear area.

Kasper Søndergaard began in his hometown with the handball game. He later moved on to the next bigger club Skive fH Ikast - bording Elite Håndbold, where he debuted in the Danish second division. In 2003 he moved on to the first division side Aarhus GF, where he also knew to convince, so he called to the national team and was taken in early 2007 by KIF Kolding under contract. With KIF 2009 he won the Danish championship. In summer 2011, he joined Skjern Håndbold. In the Håndboldligaen 2013/14 he was the best right back player in the All- Star team.

Kasper Søndergaard has been disputed 142 matches for the Danish national team. At the 2008 European Championships in Norway and at the 2012 European Championship in Serbia he was European champion; at the 2007 World Championships in Germany, he won with compatriot bronze. In summer 2012, he participated in the Olympic Games in London. In 2013 he won the silver medal at the World Championships in Spain. At the European Championships in 2014 in his own country, he was Vice-European Champion.
