Kaspersky Internet Security
Kaspersky Internet Security ( KIS ) is a security package of the Russian software company Kaspersky Lab for Microsoft Windows.
Functions
The current 2013 version has the following functions:
- Proactive Real -time protection against viruses and other malware
- Two -way firewall to ward off hackers
- Identity theft protection by virtual keyboard, and anti -phishing component
- Safe Browser for Online Security
- Improved Parental Control with flexible settings
- Intelligent spam and banner protection
- Vulnerability analysis of the operating system and installed applications
- System tuning for better performance and higher level of protection
- Rescue CD for system restoration after malware attacks
- Automatic scheduled scans and updates
- Cloud - based analysis and monitoring of potential threats.
Versions
Usually, every year a new version of Kaspersky Internet Security is published, usually by mid-year.
Security Suite CBE 11
Since issue 10/2008, there are in each issue of the magazine Computer Bild (CD or DVD version ) a specially adapted version of Kaspersky Internet Security. The license must be enabled on the home page of the magazine, Kaspersky applies not separately this variant.
Internet Security 2010
Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 has a sandbox for safe carrying out of other programs. In addition, the URL Advisor protects the user from malicious websites.

On August 27, 2013 Kaspersky Internet Security was published in 2014. The GUI design of the new version has been adapted to the Windows 8 look.
