Kastos (Greek Kάστος ( m. sg. ) ) Is a Greek island in the Ionian Sea, which belongs to the archipelago of Tilevoides within the Ionian Islands. By 2010, she was an independent country church (Greek kinotita κοινότητα ) in the prefecture of Lefkada, with the administrative reform in 2010 it was incorporated into the municipality of Lefkada, in which it has since formed a district.

From the neighboring island of Kalamos Kastos is separated only by a half a mile wide Sund; the distance to the mainland is eight kilometers. The hilly and only moderately vegetated island is about eight kilometers long, up to a kilometer wide and has an area of nearly six square kilometers. On Kastos constantly live just 50 inhabitants, almost all live on the east coast in the same harbor Kastos. There is a much smaller hamlet on the west coast. Agriculture is negligible. Also, the fishing continues to lose its meaning. Although tourism is still underdeveloped, it plays an increasingly important role.

A package tourism, there are not yet; the only pretty hard to reach the island is becoming increasingly popular with sailors but as a port. There are accommodations and taverns at the port of destination. Also bays are available.
