Kate Morton

Kate Morton (born 1976 in Berri (Australia) ) is an Australian writer.

Life

Kate Morton grew up in the mountains in Queensland, Australia and is the oldest of three sisters. She studied Drama and English Literature. Her first novel was sold in thirteen countries and quickly became a bestseller. Her second novel was published in summer 2008 in English. Finally, in 2010 it came to the release of her third novel, The distant hours. Morton revealed in an interview that she had already written a third of another story before the Blythe sisters, to which it is in her new novel, " haunt " in the head began. She decided to discontinue work on her new novel and expand the history of the Blythe sisters. Whether she continues to work on its unfinished novel, it was not known.

Kate Morton lives with her husband David, a composer, and her two sons, Louis and Oliver, in Brisbane.
