Katharina Matz

Catherine Matz ( born June 11, 1930 in Grove Village ) is a German actress.

She received her acting training in Magdeburg. Her first engagement was in Greifswald, after she was four years to the ensemble of the Deutsches Theater in East Berlin. In the late 1950s she took Ida honor at the Hamburg Chamber of games, and in 1961 she came to Willy Maertens at the Thalia Theater, where it operates to this day.

In the 1950s, she made her film debut for DEFA, followed by her first major starring role in the Albert Maltz staging Hotelboy Ed Martin. In recent years, Catherine Matz was seen mainly in television series.
