Kathy Hammond

Kathleen " Kathy " Hammond ( born February 11, 1951 in Sacramento, California) is an American track and field athlete and Olympian.

In the Indoor Championships in the USA she won in 1970 and 1972 over 440 yards the gold medal. In 1973, she came in second.

In the XX. 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, she won the bronze medal in the 400 -meter run behind the East Germans Monika Zehrt ( gold) and Westdeutsche Rita Wilder (Silver).
