Kati Kovács

Kati Kovács ( born October 25, 1944 in Verpelét, Hungary) is a Hungarian singer and actress, in the GDR was in the 1970s the most popular performers.

Kovacs worked as a dental assistant and began at the same time a study of jazz music at the Budapest Conservatory. In 1965 she won a Hungarian song contest and received on their first recording contract. Initially, she performed both as a singer and as an actress in several Hungarian movies.
