Katie Kelly

Kathleen Elizabeth Kelly ( born June 2, 1987 in Kansas City, Missouri) is an American football player who was most recently in the 2013 season at FC Kansas City under contract.

Career

Association

Kelly began her career in 2009 in the W - League hopefuls Hudson Valley Quickstrike Lady Blues, before she ran aground in the 2010 season for the Swedish first division Kristianstad DFF. After a brief stint at FC Indiana, she returned for the 2011 season for Hammarby IF in Sweden.

From January 2012, Kelly played in the Bundesliga 1 FC Locomotive Leipzig, with whom she relegation at season's end. The beginning of 2013 she was engaged by the FC Kansas City and gave her league debut on April 13, 2013 against the Portland Thorns FC. On February 20, 2014, separated the FC Kansas City from Kelly and Jaime French.

National

Due to the Canadian origin of her father Kelly was invited by coach John Herdman to a training camp of the Canadian national team in November 2011, but was not in any official international match to use.
