Katrin Krüger

Katrin Mietzner, born Kruger ( born April 10, 1959 in Great Beautiful Beck) is a former German handball player.

Her achievements and get the gambling for the ASK Vorwärts Frankfurt / Oder Kruger with the East German national team. She won the bronze medal at the 1978 World Cup and gold at the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow. Ten years later, the 260 -fold national team won bronze at the World Cup again. Katrin Krüger 1978, 1979, 1980, 1981 and 1983, top scorer in the GDR Oberliga. In 1979 she was awarded the Patriotic Order of Merit in bronze and 1984 winner of silver.

She is married to the former rowing champions Jochen Mietzner. Her daughter Franziska Mietzner (* 1988) is also Handball.
