Katrine Fruelund ( born July 12, 1978 in Randers) is a Danish handball player.

Katrine Fruelund came over the clubs Vorup FB and Randers HK to the Danish top club Viborg HK, for which she was active from 1999 to 2005. 2005 changed the 1.74 m wide backcourt player for Bundesliga club HC Leipzig, for which she played one season. In 2006, she returned to Denmark, where she played again for Randers HK. In the summer of 2012, she ended her career there. Then it was junior boss in February 2013 and brought her daughter to the world. In July 2013, she announced her comeback at Randers HK.

For the Danish national team they played 184 matches in which they scored 570 goals. With the national team, she won two Olympic gold medals and one European Championship.
