Katt Williams

Katt Micah Williams ( born September 2, 1973 in Cincinnati, Ohio) is an American comedian, actor and rapper. With many more he is part of The Diplomats hip-hop crew.

Life

Private life

Katt Micah Williams is the son of a former member of the Black Panther Party. Williams grew up in Dayton, Ohio. At 13, he moved with his dog Rasha from home and went to Florida to emulate his idols Bill Cosby, Darnell Allen and Richard Pryor and become a comedian. He first worked as a street vendor. In his teenage years he refined his art among others in the circle of stand- up comedians of Florida, North Carolina, Oklahoma, New Orleans and Sacramento. He has seven children, six of whom are adopted.

Career

Williams big break came when he won Cedric the Entertainer Anheuser -Busch " Best Los Angeles Comics " award in the summer of 1999. This success earned him the role of ' Money Mike' in the movie Friday After Next. He played this role also in 2005 at the beginning of a music video for " Lighters Up " by Lil 'Kim. In 2001 he was at the Juste pour rire comedy festival in Montreal voted one of the "new faces". Before he gained a foothold on the stage in Canada, he moved a comprehensive deal with NBC Studios and D (dot) nell Productions on land. In October 2002, he had an audition at 20th Century Fox for a role in NYPD Blue, which was offered to him immediately. In April 2003 he failed in a pilot episode of a series of Tracy Morgan, who was taken as a midseason replacement on NBC in the program, but in the end was canceled.

In an episode of The Boondocks TV series, he assumed the voice of the character A Pimp Named Slickback. Williams also appeared in sitcoms such as What's Up, Dad? and cuts in appearance and was a regular guest at Nick Cannon's MTV show Wild ' N Out. In 2003, he appeared in music videos of Nick Cannon's Gigolo, in One Night Stand Rapper E-40, stand- up of Ludacris and in 2004 in OutKast Roses, Suga Frees Thinkin ' and Ludacris Pimpin All Over The World. The latest music videos, in which he appeared, were Nick Cannons Dime Piece, Ice Cube Go To Church and Lil ' Scrappys Money in da bank.

He rapped with The Game in the mixtape Ghost Unit, with Chamillionaire in the song Roll Call, which was released on the album Mixtape Messiah, and with Snoop Dogg.

In 2006 he scored a great success with his stand - up comedy The Pimp Chronicles Pt. 1

On 12 November 2006 he hosted the first BET Hip Hop Awards, which were sent on 15 November 2006.

In November 2007, Williams announced 29 January 2008 as the release date of his debut album It's Pimpin ' Pimpin ' in the U.S. known. In the studio, Williams sat among others, with Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent and Paul Wall.

In GTA IV, published on 29 April 2008 Williams with a series of appearances to see in a comedy club in the game, where he is self-synchronizing and has performed the motion capture.
