Katuic languages
The Katu languages ( Katu group, Eng. Katuic ) form a branch of the Austro- Asiatic languages , belong to the about 1.3 million speakers in Southeast Asia.
Classification
After Laos had easier access to foreign researchers in the 1990s, it was possible to carry out an adequate classification of Katu languages :
