Kawaweogama Lake

The Kawaweogama Lake is a lake in Thunder Bay District in the western Canadian province of Ontario.

The 40 km ² large lake has a lung shape and is divided into an eastern and western basins. The River Allan Water flows on the southwestern shore of the small Sunray Lake coming into the lake. On the north shore of the western Seeteils the river leaves the Lake Kawaweogama again. With the exception of the north-western shore is the Kawaweogama Lake within the Bright Sand River Provincial Park.

The transcontinental railroad in the Canadian National Railway runs north of the lake and crosses a small side bay.

The Kawaweogama Lake is a so-called fly- in lake target of fishing tourists, mainly catch here walleye and pike.
