Kay Swift

Swift was trained at the Institute of Musical Art (from the Juilliard School was established ) as a composer. She was married to James Warburg, with whom she had three children. Swift has gone down as the first composer who composed a musical in the history of music. 1930 written piece Fine and Dandy includes some of her most famous songs; the title song became a jazz standard. Your composition Can not We be Friends (1929 ) was also known as a hit. Swift arranged and completed some works of George Gershwin, about his Prelude and Sleepless Night ( 1946).
