Kayser (Band)

Kayser is a Thrash-Metal-/Groove-Metal-Band founded in 2004 from Helsingborg, Sweden. She is currently at the label Scarlet Records.

Band History

Kayser was founded in 2004 by Christian " Spice" Sjöstrand (vocals, ex- Spiritual Beggars ), Matthias Svenson (guitar, The Defaced ), Frederik Finn Ander (guitar) and Bob Ruben (drums, ex - The Mushroom River Band ). On 18 January 2005 they recorded their debut album in the imperial Caesar Studios in Västra Karaby. In June 2005 it was released.

2005 rose from Frederik Finn Ander and Jokke Petersen of Poseidon joined them as the new guitarist. This brought his bandmates Emil " Ewil " Sandin as the new bass player in the group. After an EP was released in 2006 on 16 October the same year the second album Frame the World ... Hang it on the Wall. The group then toured with Ektomorf.

2008 Kayser toured as the opening act for Volbeat through Europe.

Music style

Kayser play his own words a mix of styles from Black Sabbath, Megadeth and Slayer. Was the first album Kayserhof still a pure thrash metal album, as found on Frame the World ... some influences from the rock, which are characterized by Christian " Spice" Sjöstrands predecessor band Spiritual Beggars.
