Kazakhstan Premier League

The Premjer League ( Kazakh and Russian Премьер - Лига ) is the highest football league in Kazakhstan and has been held since the FIFA country's accession in 1992. In the same year the Kazakh Cup competition was first held. By 2001, the league was called the Supreme League and from 2002 to 2007 the name of Super League.

Mode

The playing time of the Premjer league is adapted to the calendar year and will take place between March and November. In the regular season, all teams compete in a round-trip game against each other. After the completion of the regular season 6 top ranked play in a playoff season from the master.
