Kazakhstani Footballer of the Year
The title of Player of the Year ( Қазақстанның ең үздік футболшысы ) is awarded in Kazakhstan by two different organizations.
Since 1992, a prize is awarded by the Kazakhstan Football Federation. The jury journalists, trainers, experts, former players and the current captains of the teams in the league Premjer. Since 1999 also grants the sports magazine GOAL an award for the best player of the Kazakh league. The only foreigner who previously won this award, the Brazilian Nilton Mendes in 2000. Most awards received to date Samat Smaqow with a total of five ( 2/3).
