Kazuki Nagasawa

Kazuki Nagasawa (Japanese长 泽 和 辉, Kazuki Nagasawa, born 16 December 1991 in Togane, Chiba Prefecture) is a Japanese football player who is under contract with FC Cologne 1. The attacking midfielder is the first Japanese footballer, who has moved from the university directly to a professional European club.

Career

Kazuki Nagasawa began his career in the Japanese university league, where he countrywide University Master was with the team of the Tokyo Senshu University three times in a row Regional Champion and beyond once. From March to November 2013 Nagasawa trained with the Yokohama F. Marinos, a top club of the Japanese J- League.

In December 2013 Kazuki Nagasawa signed for FC Cologne 1 his first professional contract and then moved up to the beginning of the winter training camp to the Billy Goats to the Rhine. The contract has a term of the Japanese until the summer of 2016. His first try in the team of Peter Stoeger had Nagasawa in the test match against FC Schalke 04 on 18 January 2014. His first official match he played then on 9 February 2014 when he at the 0-1 home defeat of the 1st FC Cologne against SC Paderborn was substituted 07 in 68 minutes for Mišo Brečko.
