The wedge is a mountain approximately 559 meter high mountain in the Ore Mountains. It extends to the northwest of the center of Schneeberg. At its peak there is a 1893 erected observation tower and a mountain restaurant.

The mountain

It covers an area of about 900,000 square meters. Its north side is mostly covered up to the summit with spruce and birch. Observation tower
