Keith Walker (referee)

Keith Edwin Walker is a former English football referee.

From 1961 to 1972 officially graced Keith Walker from Maidstone in Kent as a referee in the Football League First Division at the time class. He was also the referee of the Northern Irish Cup final of 1968, in the Crusaders FC Belfast from their city rivals Linfield FC 2-0 defeated.

From 1970 to 1973 he was also reported as a FIFA referee. At the international level, he led in October and November 1972 two qualifiers for the 1974 World Cup in which Yugoslavia and Spain, and Belgium and the Netherlands separated in each draw. Earlier that year he obwaltete three games in the Taça Independencia in Brazil, where he was also in the finals, in which Brazil defeated Portugal 1-0, acted as linesman.

In October 1972, he announced his retirement from refereeing at the end of the year to take a job at Sheffield United FC.
