Keizo Miura

Keizo Miura (Japanese三浦 敬 三; * February 15, 1904 in Aomori, Aomori Prefecture, † January 5, 2006 in Tokyo ) was a Japanese ski pioneer instructors.

Life

Miura founded a Skidynastie. With 77 years he managed the Kilimanjaro on skis, 88 -year-old he made a 100km cross-country tour of the Alps and for his 99th birthday, he is accompanied by four generations of his family, departed on skis the Vallée Blanche in the Mont Blanc area. His son Yuichiro drove in the 1970s from the first to the southern slope of Mount Everest.

He died of multiple organ failure and left three sons, including mountaineers Yuichiro Miura, and a daughter.
