Melanie Kelsi Fairbrother - Svane (* August 5, 1989 in Hillingdon, United Kingdom) is a British Handball.

Fairbrother came as a 16 -year-old to Denmark to play there handball. In July 2009, the winger signed a contract with the Danish second division TST Hjørring. After Hjørring ran into financial difficulties, she moved a month later to league rivals Frederikshavn FOX. In the summer of 2010, the left-hander joined the first division team Esbjerg. With Esbjerg, she participated in the season 2010/11 and 2011/ 12 on the EHF Cup and 2012/13 on the European Cup Winners' Cup. In the summer of 2013, she moved to Aalborg DH. However, Aalborg had to file shortly before the season 2013/14 bankruptcy, whereby the club did not participate in the game mode. In January 2014 Fairbrother has been committed by German Bundesliga Thüringer HC.

Fairbrother is a member of the Executive of the British national handball team. She stood in the British squad that participated in the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London.
