Kemal Türkler

Kemal Türkler (* 1926 in Denizli, † July 22, 1980 in Istanbul) was a socialist trade union leaders in Turkey. He was founder and first president of the Trade Union Congress Türkiye Devrimci ISCI Sendikaları Konfederasyonu (disk ) and also one of the founders of the Workers Party of Turkey (Türkiye Partisi ISCI, TIP).

For a long time worked as a metal worker Kemal. Later, he was elected President of Türkiye Maden - Iş. He had a leading role in the democratic trade union movement in Turkey.

Kemal Türkler was murdered on July 22, 1980 outside his home in Merter, Istanbul.
