Kemba Walker

Kemba Walker ( born May 8, 1990 in New York City ) is an American basketball player. He spent his college years at the University of Connecticut. In 2011, he won the Big East Tournament with Connecticut. Walker scoring with 130 points in five games and a tournament record score more points than in any conference tournament the last 15 years. Consequently, he was honored for the MVP. On April 4, 2011, he led his team to the NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Championship where he was named Most Outstanding Player.

Charlotte Bobcats

In NBA Draft 2011 Walker was selected in the first round in ninth place of the Charlotte Bobcats. In his first season for the Bobcats Walker rose to 12.1 points, 4.4 assists and 3.5 rebounds per game. He was invited because of his services to the NBA All-Star Weekend Rookie Challenge. Sporting the season for Walker and the Bobcats ended sobering, since only 7 games were won and 59 games were lost.
