Kemer (Burdur)

Kemer is a district and a county seat in the Turkish province of Burdur. The district lies in the southern center of the province. It is bordered on the west by Tefenni and Karamanlı, in the north to the central district of Burdur, on the east by Bucak and on the south by the province of Antalya. The city is located about 45 km southwest of the provincial capital on the western slope of the mountain Katrancık Dagi on a tributary of the Evren Çayı that flows about 35 km north in the Burdur Gölü.
Settlements
In addition to the county town, there are seven villages in the district of the Akçaören, Akören, Belenli, Elmacık, Kayı, Pınarbaşı and Yakalar.
