The language Kendem (ISO 639-3: kvm; Bokwa - kendem also called ) is spoken by more than 1500 people in the area of the city of Mamfe, in the villages Kendem, Kekpoti and Bokwa in the Southwest Region of Cameroon.
The language belongs to the Kendem südbantoiden language group of the Mamfe - languages within the language family of the Niger - Congo languages . The people in the villages where the language is spoken, is Myugundem call while the Kendem spokesman from the village Kekpoti call their language also Kekpoti.
