Kenn Borek Air Ltd. is a Canadian airline that operates a scheduled service in the Canadian Arctic. Because of their legendary reputation, the airline flies to the United Nations and various countries in the world in disaster and rescue operations. The airline leased its aircraft to Cuba, Panama, Nepal and the Maldives. Also flights are performed for research societies in the Arctic and Antarctic. The airline now has the largest Twin Otter fleet in the world.

History

The founder of the company Kenn Borek grew up in Canada in Stettler, Alberta. As oil pickup the Arctic began to explore, he learned to fly and procured in 1970 a Twin Otter. Bailouts

A regional route network maintains the airline from Iqaluit to small towns on the mainland and on the coast of the Northwest Territories.

Incidents
