Kentarō Haneda

Kentaro Haneda, Haneken called (Japanese羽 田 健 太郎, Kentaro Haneda, born January 12, 1949 in Tokyo, † June 2, 2007 in Shinjuku, Tokyo ) was a Japanese composer and piano player who mainly because of its anime, film is known and video game music.

In 1981 he was nominated for a Japanese Academy Award for Best Music for the film Music of the feature film Fukkatsu no Hi ( German title: Overkill - Through Hell to Eternity ) nominated by 1980. He has composed the soundtrack for the anime series Treasure Island ( 1978) and for both anime adaptations of Barefoot through Hiroshima (1982, 1986).

He died on 2 June 2007, a hepatocellular carcinoma at the age of 58 years.
