Kenton station

Kenton is a railway station in the London Borough of Brent. It is located in the Travelcard Zone 4 at the Kenton Road. It is operated on the one hand from London Overground commuter trains between London Euston and Watford Junction, on the other hand, on the Bakerloo line of the London Underground. Around three hundred meters south of the station is Northwick Park Metropolitan Line. In the year 2011 there were 1.94 million subway passengers the station, added 0.413 million passengers by rail.

The opening of the station took place on June 15, 1912 by the London and North Western Railway ( LNWR ), as this along the already existing since 1837 West Coast Main Line new tracks for the electric suburban moved (called the Watford DC Line). The Bakerloo Line started its operations on 16 April 1917. The operation of the Bakerloo Line was temporarily suspended on the section north of Stonebridge Park Between the September 24, 1982 and June 4, 1984.
