Kericho County

Kericho County (until 2010 Kericho District ) is a county in the Kenyan Rift Valley Province. The capital of the county is Kericho. In County 2009 752.396 people lived on 2454.5 km ². In Kericho County tea is mainly grown. Kericho is the center of important Teeanbaugebietes in Kenya. In Kericho County the Kipsigis are located, belonging to the people of the Kalenjin.

Structure

The county is divided into councils and divisions. There are four constituencies: Buret, Belgut, Ainamoi and Kipkelion.
