Kevin Richardson (musician)

Kevin Scott Richardson ( born October 3, 1971 in Lexington, Kentucky, USA) is an American singer. He is best known as a member of the boy band Backstreet Boys.

Life

Richardson grew up on a 10 acre farm with his parents and two older brothers, Jerald Wayne Jr. and Tim. When he was nine years old, the family moved to Estill County, where his father ran a summer camp. In school, Richardson played in the football team, worked in the camp and sang in the church choir. After he had taught himself the piano playing, the keyboard was his constant companion, and he began to write songs.

After high school graduation, he left with his brother Jerald Kentucky and both went to Orlando. There, Richardson earned his money as a tour guide at Disney World and dance teacher. As a model, he worked for Versace.
