Kevin Williamson (screenwriter)
Kevin Meade Williamson ( born March 14, 1965 in New Bern, North Carolina, United States) is an American screenwriter, film producer and film director.
Filmmaking
Williamson is regarded as the most prestigious author of horror films, the 1996 Scream - Scream! the benchmark for other films of this genre began.
After the sequel Scream 2 (1997) was Williamson creator of the successful youth series Dawson's Creek. The character of Jack McPhee played by Kerr Smith, based in part on his own, because as well as Jack Williamson outed in the series as a homosexual.
Also include I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997) and The Faculty (1998) to his works.
Williamson's directorial debut marked the Kill Mrs. Tingle produced in 1999! .
Williamson is also the producer and screenwriter for the series Vampire Diaries.
