Keweenaw Rocket Range

Keweenaw was a rocket launch site on the peninsula Keweenaw Peninsula in the U.S. state of Michigan. From Keweenaw some sounding rockets of the type Arcas started 1964-1970. In addition, experiments were conducted with ground based missile. The last missiles were launched from Keweenaw, were two missiles Nike Apache end of January 1971. Nowadays some Remains of launchers are still preserved.
