Keya Paha County is a county located in the state of Nebraska in the United States. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat) is Springview.

Geography

The County is located in the extreme north of Nebraska, adjacent to the state of South Dakota and has an area of ​​2005 square kilometers, of which 2 square kilometers is water area. It borders in Nebraska clockwise to the following counties: Boyd County, Rock County, Brown County and Cherry County.

Part of the Key Paha County is the Niobrara Valley Preserve.

History

Keya Paha County was formed in 1884. It was named after the Keya Paha River.
