KF Bylis Ballsh

Klubi Sportiv Bylis Ballsh is an Albanian football club from Ballsh. The club currently plays in the highest Albanian League, the Kategoria Superiore. Their home ground stadium Agush Maca can accommodate 6,500 spectators. Named the club is after the ancient ruined city Byllis far from Ballsh.

History

The club was founded in 1972 under the name Ballshi i Ri (New Ballsh ). In between, he was also named FC Bylis. In the 1997/98 season, he participated in the highest Albanian League for the first time. In the season 1998/99 KS Bylis Ballshi had the first games in the group stage of the UEFA Cup.

In the season 2006/ 07 Bylis still played in the third Albanian League Kategoria e Dyte. They went on to the second division and were in the same season for the first division, qualify the Kategoria Superiore. However, the League maintain failed after Bylis was inferior in a qualification game. Bylis but won the Kategoria e Pare in the 2009/10 season and was able to rise again.

After club president Besnik Kapplanaj the game of his club against KF Laçi Besnik Cela, a delegate from the Albanian Football Association, was struck down with a board, the KS Bylis Ballsh were excluded on March 21, 2014 from the game and Kapplanaj lifetime blocked for offices in football.
