Khan Na Yao District

Khan Na Yao ( Thai คันนายาว, k ʰ Na ː ː marked No w) is one of the 50 districts (Khet ) of Bangkok, capital of Thailand.

Geography

The neighboring districts are from clockwise from the north: Bang Khen, Khlong Sam Wa, Min Buri, Saphan Sung and Bueng Kum.

History

Khan Na Yao belonged first to the district Bueng Kum. According to a decision by the administration of 14 October 1997, he was separated together with Saphan Sung Bueng Kum. This order came into force on 21 November 1998.

Parish council

The council of the district of Khan Na Yao has seven members, each member shall be elected for four years. The last election was held on 30 April 2006 the results. :
