Khoma

Khoma (formerly coma ) is a Progressive-/Post-Rock-Band founded in 2002 from Umeå, Sweden.

History

The three founding members January Jämte (vocals), John Persson (guitar) and Fredrik Kihlberg (vocals, piano) met in the nineties in the Swedish city of Umeå Hardcore, eg International Noise Conspiracy, Meshuggah, Refused earlier is also home to the College. After a few years they started jamming in 2002 to seriously work on their music and ultimately receive an EP that was released limited after two more years. The scale had with tentative edition of 1000 copies tsunami despite the unconventional blend of progressive metal, tough rock riffs and comparable with the newer Mogwai post-rock success and was subsequently re-released again with a circulation of 1,000 CDs.
