Khosrau

Khosrow is a Persian name, which comes from a legendary Iranian king from the Avesta called Kai Khosrau. Translated it means with good standing. Other variants are Husrav, Xusro, Khusro, Khosrau, Khusrau, Khosro, or Khusraw. In ancient Greek sources may also appear as Chosroes or Osroes the name. In Arabic the name is called Kisra and in Turkish Husrev.
