The Kwae Noi Sai Yok National Park

The River Kwai ( Thai: แม่น้ำ แคว น้อย Maenam Kwai, "Little Creek " ) is a river in Thailand's Kanchanaburi province.

The Kwai River is fed from the reservoir Khao Laem district ( Amphoe ) Sangkhlaburi near the border with Burma. The reservoir is completely protected by the National Park Khao Laem. A little further downstream of the Kwai River flows through the National Park Sai Yok.

After 150 km course in a southeasterly direction he unites near the provincial capital of Kanchanaburi with the Khwae Yai to Mae Klong.

Attractions

For tourists, a ride along the old railway line of the " Death Railway " is offered, which leads to a great extent along the Kwae Noi. The ride starts every weekend in Bangkok to Hua Lamphong Train Station. A brief stop in Kanchanaburi to the Bridge on the River Kwai, then scenic drive over the shaky, partly aided by old wooden scaffolding route to its final stop of Nam Tok ( waterfall ).
