Kid British

Kid British are a British pop band from Manchester.

Career

In 2002, the school friends Adio Marchant and Simeon Mclean accidentally met James Mayer and started talking. From this, the band Action Manky arose. Three years later, they got together with producer Sean Mbaya and decided to continue together. As a "Kid British and the Action Manky " they developed their own style and gained increasing popularity.

Finally they came in 2008 to a record deal and shortened its name to Kid British. They played at Glastonbury and the V Festival and on nationwide tour before they released their 2009 debut single Our ​​House Is Dadless. The song contains a sample of Our House by Madness and points to the ska influences of the band. There was a minor chart hit as well as the UK- published shortly afterwards album It Was This or Football. That same year she also participated in a charity project Young Soul Rebels.
